We were thrilled to welcome Linda as our very first guest designer on Plyful back in September 2023, and we are even more honoured that she’s joining us once again—this time with another amazing exclusive design, an inspiring masterclass, and a very special Thread Talk!
Since the start of Plyful, Linda and Sandra have become close friends. While Linda’s stunning aesthetic and dramatic silhouettes are truly unmatched, the two designers share a deep love for beautifully crafted garments. And Linda has certainly outdone herself this time with her latest creation: The Everleaf Cardigan—a design that’s sure to impress.
Linda Skuja is a textile designer from Riga, Latvia, renowned for her innovative use of texture, short-row techniques, and three-dimensional stitches to create stylish, fashion-forward crochet patterns for intermediate and advanced makers.
With over a decade of experience in designing, Linda’s work has been featured in leading industry magazines, solidifying her reputation as a designer who pushes the boundaries of traditional crochet. Her expertise has also led to exciting collaborations with fashion designers worldwide, including the creation of exclusive crochet samples for the New York Fashion Week runway.
Linda has authored a crochet pattern book “Crochet Sweaters with a Textured Twist” and developed a Domestika course, where she teaches the advanced techniques that define her signature style. Through her designs and educational offerings, she continues to inspire crocheters to explore new creative possibilities and craft garments that blend artistry with innovation. quickly realized that adult-sized patterns didn’t match my style, so I decided to design my own.

Masterclass with Linda
Linda’s understanding of crochet is unmatched and we are so excited to learn the iconic motif that she developed for the Everleaf Cardigan. Between short row shaping and working on the back loop, this is a stitch pattern that will keep you entertained and that looks amazing!
