Courtney is one of the most talented and involved people in the community! She is super dedicated to her craft, putting a deep emphasis on well-fitting, size-inclusive garments that are designed to be completely wearable staples.

We truly love everything she creates—her professionalism and attention to detail shine through in every pattern and every stitch. We are honored to have her as our first Guest Designer of the year!

"Hi! My name is Courtney and I am the Canadian designer and sole force behind Tinderbox. Tinderbox is a crochet designing and educating business focused on creating size-inclusive wardrobe staples for every season and empowering makers to expand their skills.

For my whole life I have been a crafter, dabbling in everything from cross-stitch to macramé, but in 2009 I found my 'soul craft' in crochet and haven't looked back. I began designing my own pieces in 2011, and in 2016 I took the leap into pattern writing and garment designing. It was the best decision I’ve ever made!

Through my passion, I hope to continue to ignite confidence in all crocheters to make their own clothing that will last a lifetime."
