Kayla is a super talented designer from the US with a great eye for color, texture, and fit. Her patterns range from beautiful, complex cables that are entirely worth the effort to simple, everyday staples that are incredibly wearable!
Whether you're looking for a challenge or a classic project, Kayla's designs always shine. We are thrilled to have her sharing her expertise with us this month.
"Hi there! I’m Kayla, the crochet designer behind Kay Krochets. I’m a Bible believer, wife, mom of three, and a passionate designer. I enjoy exploring the great outdoors, playing games with my family, and, you guessed it, crocheting! Most days you'll find me at the dining table homeschooling my kiddos or on the couch with a project in my hands.
I picked up a hook for the first time in the summer of 2016 while pregnant with our first child and taught myself the basics from YouTube tutorials. I quickly started selling custom goods, but after about a year, I realized that creating exactly what others wanted made me lose my passion for the craft. I decided to take the leap into designing my own pieces, and I haven't looked back since!"
