Crochet as a Path of Reconnection
This class is an invitation to explore the different facets of our creative process and how we can use our passion for crafting as a healing and connecting practice.
Isa will share her own journey of becoming a self-taught textile artist and an international slow-fashion designer and how her work has impacted her life purpose and wellbeing while weaving personal love stories into meaningful bespoke garments for clients around the world, with the intention to bring inspiration and tips to strengthen your love of crocheting and to enjoy a deeper sense of intimacy while immersing yourself in working with hooks and threads.
In her own words…
This is the first time I will be leading a session like this, unlike a typical crochet technique class, exploring something more transcendental: how we can intimately connect with our art and with ourselves as we create. If you have been crocheting for a while and enjoy following patterns, but feel a pull toward something deeper…
If you are open to considering that your passion for crocheting could be a reflection of who you are in essence…
Or if you yearn for greater creative freedom…
Then this might be exactly what you’ve been looking for.Isa Catepillan
