We are starting our Guest Designers of the year with a BANG!!!

Welcome the amazing Maria Paz of @LolaCrochets!

Maria is such a talented maker and I, for one, am sad that she is so busy with life because I wish she could design FULL TIME!! Her work is always so amazing and every time she comes up with sometime new, I am always left having to pick up my jaw from the floor!

It is a great honour to have her be our first Guest Designer of 2025 bringing one of my favorite designs of hers to our Collection.

I am particularly excited to get to know Maria better because as Latino women living in a foreign country, mothers and crochet lovers, we might just have a lot in common!!

Hello! I’m Maria, the creator behind Lola Crochets. Lola, my eldest daughter, was my muse when I began this journey. Originally from Chile, I’ve lived in Australia for years.

Lola Crochets began during the pandemic when I had extra time and picked up crochet, a skill I learned in school. I started by making sweaters for Lola and quickly realized that adult-sized patterns didn’t match my style, so I decided to design my own.

Today, Lola Crochets is a big part of me. I love designing, writing patterns, and seeing you wear them. Thank you for joining me on this journey!
