01Joining

Anyone can join the Plyful affiliate programme for free. When you sign up you agree to these terms. You'll need a PayPal account to receive payouts.

02What you earn

• Patterns and other shop orders: 20% of what the customer pays, after any discount, for orders placed within 90 days of them clicking your link or placed with your code.
• Memberships: 20% of what the customer pays when they sign up. Renewals and later payments don't earn commission, and a free trial earns nothing because nothing is paid.
• Commission is worked out on the order total before any payment-provider fees, and doesn't include tax.

03How sales are tracked

When someone clicks your link, we save a cookie in their browser for 90 days so we can match their order to you. If they switch devices or clear their cookies before buying, we may not be able to see that the sale came from you.

Your discount code doesn't rely on cookies, so it's the most reliable way to make sure a sale is credited to you.

04Your discount code

Once you've shared a make with your link, we'll set up a code in your name. It gives your followers 25% off patterns that aren't already on sale.

• Each customer can use it once.
• It can't be combined with other codes and doesn't apply to memberships.
• We may change or retire codes. We'll tell you by email before we do.

05Your own purchases

You're welcome to shop with us as normal, but orders you place yourself, through your own link or code, don't earn commission.

06Payouts

• We pay every quarter by PayPal, in US dollars, to the PayPal email in your account.
• If you've earned less than $25 in a quarter, it carries over until you reach $25.
• Please keep your PayPal email up to date. We can't be responsible for payments sent to an email you've given us that's out of date.
• You're responsible for any tax due on what you earn.

07Refunds and cancelled orders

If an order is refunded, cancelled or charged back, the commission on it is removed. If it has already been paid, we'll deduct it from your next payout.

08How to share

We'd love you to share Plyful anywhere you share your makes. To keep things fair for everyone, please:

• Say when you're sharing an affiliate link, for example with "#ad" or "affiliate link". This is required in most countries.
• Only say things about Plyful and our patterns that are true.
• Don't post your code on coupon, voucher or deal websites.
• Don't run paid ads using the Plyful name, or bid on "Plyful" in search ads.
• Don't send spam or unsolicited messages.
• Don't share our patterns or pattern files. Your followers need to buy their own copy.

09Using the Plyful name and photos

You can use the Plyful name and photos from our pattern pages to promote patterns through your link. Please don't change our logo or present yourself as working for Plyful. Photos of your own makes are always yours.

10Leaving or closing an account

You can leave at any time by letting us know. Any earnings of $25 or more will be paid in the next quarterly payout.

We may close an affiliate account that breaks these terms. Commission earned by breaking them won't be paid.

11Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If a change affects what you earn, we'll tell you by email before it takes effect.
