Stripy Parvum (meaning “small” in Latin) is the soul of the Stripy Pullover Family – it is a figure hugging and very flattering everyday jumper. Worked top-down, the highly elastic neckline and short rows adjust to your neck and shoulders, while the compound raglan shaping creates a yoke that flatters every body and that is highly functional. The pullover can be made cropped or full length to desired length and the sleeves are narrow and tapered to fit to your arms. The thin striping throughout allows for an opportunity to be playful with color and stash bust, while creating a classic garment that belongs in everyone’s wardrobe. The pattern includes video tutorials and size-specific progress tables that make crocheting this jumper a breeze!

Alternative Yarns

Any fingering weight yarn will work. Here are some I recommend based on their weight and fiber content:

Main gauge

23 sts x 16 rows = 10 cm / 4in
In patt worked flat with a 3.5 mm hook after blocking

Swatch Instructions

Worked flat, alternate sc and dcFLO rows.

Be sure to block and check gauge before starting by making a big enough gauge swatch (at least 15 x 15 cm / 6 x 6 in).

Certain materials might sag, and fabric may extend too much with drape, so adjust hook size appropriately.

Stripy Parvum Pullover – Polka Dot Creek Christmas Minis

by Shu-Wen (ChouxPuffCreations)

Description

I made this sweater with a different color striping pattern than recommended in Sandra's pattern to make the most of the 10g mini skeins in the Christmas yarn bouquet I got from Polka Dot Creek last year, and I love how this turned out! Description

I made the cropped version. I went up a size so it would be looser. I made a mistake on one row and must have forgotten to turn.
