I have long admired Andrea for many reasons. One being her amazing success on social media. But mostly because of her commitment to create super wearable crochet garments and accessories. Everything she makes is gold and this month’s Plyful Pattern is no exception. 

I am truly excited to get to know her better this month.

“Hello! I’m Andrea, the creator behind cosmaudí. I’ve been designing crochet garments and accessories for around 8 years now and truly feel like I’ve found my life’s passion.

When I first started crocheting, I would often find myself crocheting many tops and other garments but never wearing them out. My guiding principle since then as a designer has been to create items that I would not only enjoy crocheting, but that I would absolutely love to incorporate into my own wardrobe. I find crochet textures to be incredibly inspiring and feel like I’m constantly learning about my craft, and I love to push the boundaries of what’s possible in both regular crochet and Tunisian crochet.

When I’m not crocheting, you’ll usually find me reading, running, lifting, cycling, or spending time with friends and family.”
